    NBA Finals Game One
It looks way too easy to take Boston, is this game a trap?

I agree it looks too easy but the line started at -3.5 and I'm banking on the fact that it was people betting heavily on the Lakers that brought the line down.

Check this out, according to this ESPN poll (scroll down), 78% expect the Lakers to win the series:

Who is the overwhelming pick to win the NBA Finals? Our experts explain their picks.

Unbelievable, with numbers like that, I wonder what the betting looks like!

Might be better to watch game 1 and see how the matchups work out. One wildcard I have is LA's very under rated defense. I like the Under small in game 1 fwiw.

Under should be OK, Boston by 8 LA wins the first half by 4.

under rated, ya think. i guess i just never see gasol or odom playing a lick of defense. the other guys hustle but ive never really thought of this team playing much d. they are a prime example out of the west. just try outscoring the other team.

boston and other home teams have won me so much money this playoff season, i gotta keep riding it.

Just post one as lock and the winner (the opposite of your selection) will be revealed.

I cap the OU as 193. This game is pretty tight. Opened at 194 and been drfting down even since.

I got the Lakers +1-1/2 1h and +3-1/2. Difficult turning down the points with two evenly matched teams. Plus you've got the Kobe factor who can literally score at will.

I like trends when it involves previous matchups. I agree with you on trends like the Lakers are 3-0 on Thursday games in 30 day months where there was a new moon on the 13th....those are worthless. Specific matchup trends are valuable for NBA totals. They helped me to a %68 win on NBA totals this season.

It looks like the celtics will get away with this one, but the lakers will still win the series.

Pierce is running on adrenaline now, but tomorrow hell sure in the hell feel it, and he wont be able to play on sunday.

When you "sprain" something in your knee, it means you have an incomplete ligament tear. I have an lcl sprain in my leg, and when it happened I was still walking working on it for about 40 minutes. I then went home and took 4 aspirin, and the next morning it looked like I had melon where my knee was and could barely hobble around. Depending on where the sprain is, he may be able to walk, but his lateral mobility and ability to pivot and twist will be completely eliminated.

I do not know but Boston D is fierce, Kobe really struggled to get easy shots and could not get to the hole. Lakers are in touble.

Kobe was 9 of 26 and 0-3 from the three point line. If he makes one three pointer (33 percent) one free throw and three shots from the field, Lakers win. Plus, Lakers got homered by terrible officiating. Missed at least four easy calls, giving Boston the ball when the Celtics clearly knocked in out of bounds. Lakers come back (ML) in game 2.
