Just rumor but they said they're vaccines in the making that makes you immune from having Hiv turned into full blown aids.

There's been a cure for HIV for a while. It has done well in clinical trials. You can find the patent for it on a US government website. It's just not available to the public, but money cures most problems

There is a documentary out there, I've seen. It is basically about how Doctors in Africa in the 50's or 60's were trying to produce a vaccine for polio and inadvertently created the AIDS virus in humans. I will try to find it and post it here. It's fascinating.

Wait wait wait a minute... Sports Illustrated made a report back in 2005 or 2006 that Magic Johnson was officially HIV FREE. I don't have the official date... but I read it. Yes, $ cures you from anything.
