Dime lines

heres a couple of books that will be offering a dime line upto -190 this year:

cascade: (SBR rated "A-")
5dimes: (SBR rated "A" )

I don't know for sure what books will be doing this year but I can tell you some that had dime lines or better last year.

Mansion (exchange)
WSEX
WagerWeb/BetDon
DSI
ABC Islands
Heritage
BetonGames

There are quite a few books coming to mind that I'm pretty sure had dime lines but it's kind of hard to remember right now.

I received an e-mail last week from BetDon promoting their March Madness bonus and they were advertising the 10 cent line in e-mail

I don't bet any baseball but I would imagine having a book with dime lines or better is an absolute must...

Pretty much.

The one point that has only been touched on briefly is where the dime lines break. Some books advertise dime lines - and it's true that on a pick 'em game the odds are -105/-105 - but by the time you get to -160, the takeback on the dog is +140. That's a very different value than books that have true dime lines up to -190.

I imagine we'll get into more discussion of those details as things get going.

Is 5 dimes still doing their nickel overnight lines or nickel "prop" bets?

i did a live chat with them (5dimes) a few weeks back. they told me at that time, they were still considering it.

they will be using a dime line upto -190 though.

pags, the price breaks are very important to know when betting bases.

if your a dog type bettor like i am in betting bases. you have to find the best possable books out there that benifit your style of betting, so you can maximize your profits per unit play.

they're breaking at -190 now?

in my previous live chat i had with them. they informed me that there line would break at -187.

Someone listed betongames as offering dime lines, but their exhibition games have mostly 20c lines as I check them now. Do they switch come the regular season, or did they change to 20c this year, anyone know?

i just spoke with them, and they confirmed it. they will using a dime line when the regular season starts.

thanks, bbd. to add to that, i checked to see if the dime line was applicable to all lines, or if they broke it at a certain level, and i was told to check back on monday for that. so i guess that part is still up in the air...
