Bal has one of the lowest hitting eras in the league. Their last 6 games they have only hit .231 Tor is hitting .315 almost .100 higher..

It may go over, but I don't have much confidence in Bal so i'm taking Toronto at +112 for the win.

like this one a lot. Jays hit LHP very well and Britton has slowed down a bit recently, not missing as many bats (his xFIP is about 1.4 runs higher than his ERA). Villanueva's xFIP also over a run higher than his ERA, Jays pen a little worn out too, and O's pen one of the worst in the majors.

Then why bother to comment on ones plays..just join and look around to see what people are doing..the fact that you have a lot to say on here indicates to me that maybe these picks are not so dumb..there are many ways to handicap and not one is the right way but a combination..I would love to see a strict math approach go up against someone who is more old school..that would end the conversation about this topic..results tell all..not some back and forth conversation about dumb money and EV..

In Toppers defense LV the last game Villanova or whatever his name is pitched he got knocked around. Villanova has been a pitcher in the MLB for many yrs and is no good!! I like this pick and i think Balty wins!!

nope...if that was the case i'd also be telling you a's, tigers, twins, rockies. when the market moves a line off of the true line, that creates value. many times it coincides with a majority of the public on the opposite side but majority of the public on the opposite side does not mean there's value. its not a two way street
