Well guys I deposited $400 at the beginning of the playoffs made it up to 2600 put it all on the heat at half and my world just came crashing down.

Any advice for getting over a bad loss guys I know many have said this but I never want to gamble again.

Use it as a good lesson for the future. I've done this before about a year ago, almost exact same $. But as brutal and stupid as it sounds it helped me in a way, been tempted to make huge bets since, didn't and they subsequently lost, then went on to make lots of $ on what i had left. As for now I'd do whatever you can to keep busy and stay off gambling for a few days, good luck!

This is the 3rd time this playoffs the heat have fcked me!! One game against bulls were it went to OT they won by 8 I was +5 and the next game were they were down 11 with 2 mins to go and won.. now tonight Id be up around 5k more if not for these 3 games!! I hate the fcking NBA!!

i'll bet you there's someone worse than you as we speak.. i swear to god, i was laughing my head off at pinny tonight.. when heat was up by 15 with 6 min to go, i checked pinny's nba live line, and the moneyline was MIA -13000/DAL +2000.. i laughed because that might be the worse line i have ever seen. the comeback only +2000?? this was a big joke.. especially coming from pinny..

anyhow, i told myself at that exact time that i am sure many will bet the -13000 on MIA because that game was basically over. now imagine those poor guys that layed the 130-1 on MIA how they are feeling now?

I agree even at halftime Pinny was fcking around with the line at halftime making Dallas -3.5 +227!! I smelled a bad beat coming but when they went up 15 I thought it was in the bag!! I should of fcking hedged!! Had so many chances!! Greed is a bad thing especially when it was +13.5 +120!! Thats a hell of a middle there!!

god ive done the same thing so many times nothing hurts as bad as having 25 dollars left in the account hitting a 8 team parlay then betting all of it on a sure thing only to be a loser. most of the time im over it in an hr

i think money management is the hardest concept u'll learn and practice in this industry. Its human nature to chase and fight something in your mind. Avoiding deviation is a must mentality in order to survive on this disease of gambling.

it happens - but you probably doubled up some big bets to get to the 26. lesson to be learned is next time take the cash off the table and put it in your pocket. then take a few days off enjoy your winnings - bank most of them - deposit another 400 and do it all over again.

you cant win in gambling no chance. even if you can make 10 solid researched +100 bets a month and go 7-3 you wont do it long term. you will get lazy and take bets cause "it will hurt so bad to pick a winner, watch it win but have no money on it"......so you end up sub .500 and scrambling with huge pressure bets and in the back of your mind saying "i dont even care if i lose this all in i will just reload tomorrow"

just do long shot parlays those are fun and arent destructive
