jj, great stats, but you have to also tell us what the units are, whether they are + or -..

when you say favs are 60% and 80 games over .500, this really doesnt help much, because they can easily be down money..

and if you say dogs are only 39%, this can be very good and they can be up quite a bit..

is there a way you can tell us what they are up or down in units. this is what really counts.

but good job anyways. thanks for the stats. I think this is the 1st gambling thread in over 48 hrs here at sbr.. keep it up mike corbin..

jj, if these stats help you to cap game....great. i have no idea how to use any of those stats. i usually look at each game and decide which team will win.

Pico, baeball is uncappable IMO. I know, guys spend tons of time doing it, and I tried it back in the day, and got nowhere. I consider baseball recreational betting, so I am the ultimate square - give me last nights score, todays pitchers (r or l), any injuries, and chances are if I place a bet, Im on the over.

        Other sports, different story.....

if you bet all dogs every game for the last 20 yrs, you'd be losing money every year.

if you bet favs every game for the last 20 yrs, you'd be down money every year.

If you bet every over last year, you'd be 15 games over .500, but you'd be down money because of the juice

If you bet every under last year, you'd be bankrupt with the 15 games under 500, and tack on the juice..OUCH.

Every year, the favs win between 56-61% consistently, and every year, you'd be down money no matter if you took dogs or favs.

It's just hard to win no matter who you pick. there's no advantage..

forget about home dogs, or road favs, or whatever you think is a sure winner, because there is no such thing.

these lines are just right on.

it's very hard to come up ahead in gambling.. the juice just beats everyone at the end. UNLESS you always get the best # to every game, then you end up with the advantage. Doesn't matter if it's a dog, a fav, an over, or an under. just get the best line and everything will fall in place.

what a loser i am richie. imagine going to bed now when the whole world is up and ready to go to work and see the world, and i am about to shut the lights, close the blinds and go to sleep. how sad is that richie..

welcome to my world of being a gambler.. It's not a good life richie. it's a very sad life. i am missing out on a lot.. nice sunny day outside now and i am going to bed. excuse me while i go cry

good night richie. i'll be back in 7.5 hrs for the early aft ball game.

Home dogs are always solid especially if they are playing division rivals

There is one bet for sure you'd be cleaning up completely had you done this from the beginning of the year..

and that is... IF YOU BET EVERY HOME TEAM..

never have i seen anything like it. home teams are close to 110 games over .500 at close to a 65% clip now.. and a lot of those are home dogs too, getting juice..

ONLY 3 of the 30 ML teams are over .500 on the road.. that's how good home teams are this year.

I have NEVER seen anything like this.
