this may be a simple question i dont know, but isnt it standard for a bank to have a clearing period on these babies? my credit union is 10 working days. i know of other banks and they all have them. if its not a big amount is this clearing period waved?

ya i know gonzo, one friend i have has 3 different accounts, got a nice check about a year back had waiting periods of 5 days, 10 days, and 6 weeks at his different banks.
im more or less asking if its a low amount of say 300 or 400 bucks, does the bank still hold you to the clearing period? ive never tried anything that small.Comment -
