Celtics in game 1 at -2.5, and then when the series price reverses, take the series price on the Lakers, if you really think that the Lakers are going to win it regardless. You win twice, push, or lose doing this? Feedback. I am seriously considering this manuever.

#2It would seem good but Lakers are going to win game one so save your money and just put it on the Lakers series price now before it goes up anymore.Comment -

#6If you think that the Celts will win game one, bet it.
If you then think the Lakers are going to win 4 of the next 6, take the series price on them.
Nothing wrong with this method. I love when the team I like to win the series loses game 1 to bump the series price.
Keep in mind though...
Lakers win game 1 price gets worse AND you lost your wager...
Lakers lose game 1 and lose series, you lose...
You are really going to need things to fall just right.Comment -

#8Celtics win Game 1, no questions asked. Celtics do better against the better teams. People have been using their performance against Hawks and Cavaliers to calibrate their playoff prospects.
I don't wish to annoy anyone but I think Celtics will win this series. The Lakers-Celtics matchup is a perfect setting for the kind of upsets prevalent in sports.
Here's how it will go:
Celtics win Game 1 ATS. The lines are adjusted in Game 2 and Celtics win SU but don't cover the spread. Lakers win Games 3 and 5. Celtics steal Game 4. The deal is sealed in Boston in Game 6. Celtics win 4-2.
Kobe will score loads, no doubt. But the way the public is on Lakers to win suggests an upset is in the offing. But to be frank, if the Celts take the series, will that be an upset?Comment -

#9Lakers will win one game in Boston, but the big question is which one? If you really think Celts will win Game 1, I'd say go for it. If Lakers win Game 1, I know that then kills series price, but they would be virtual lock to win series anyway do go ahead and lay up to -300 or so.Comment -

#19I guess it really goes to show you how recent performances mean nothing.
The Lakers "looked" like the best team in the playoffs, everyone just forgot about Boston's dominance all year, particularly on the road against Detroit in semis. As soon as Ray Allen found his stroke, it was smooth sailing for the green team.Comment -

#20I chickened out and took Boston to win the series at +125 before the game last night. I kept wanting to take the Lakers, but I decided against my better judgement and took the Celtics to win last night and the series.Comment
