Most teams at the start of the every WNBA season are in transition because of big roster changes (via the draft and trades), and integrating those players is a major challenge. The WNBA doesn't have a long training camp/preseason process and there is very little time for new players to learn their teammates habits and the coaching system. This is why Seattle is a clear favorite to repeat - very stable roster, great role players who know the system, and of course the best player in the league Lauren Jackson (no offense to Diana Taurasi).Comment -

Justin is correct. If you are a basketball fan at all, it is unwatchable, BUT huge money is possible on this. Wish they would play all year. Linesmen have absolutely no clue what to put up. Middles with hedges occur frequently and if you decide u want to gamble a little with bad polish totals etc--go ahead, the number was done with a dartboard. Actually linesmakers have gotten sharper in the past 2 years, which I'm sure is one of the reasons RAS/HoopsEdge bailed out on WNBA this year (they've been very average the past 2 seasons), and why the other so-called WNBA "experts" didn't have blowout seasons last year either.
And yes, it's pretty much unwatchable except for Seattle, Phoenix and Atlanta to some degree. I like the Lynx this year also but it will take them time to find their chemistry. Candace is back for the Sparks, she's always nice to look at.Comment -
