Im in Newton,Ma, got a lot of wind and thunder but luckily no tornadoes, now Western MA where i go to school (UMASS) is pretty obliterated.

I live in Northeastern RI so I was part of the warnings a few times today.... but I watched endless amount of coverage of it on local tv.

LOTS of damage... over 200 houses ruined and quite a lot of people missing. It was not a bad tornado at all, but we aren't in the midwest.... People in this area aren't used to tornadoes and therefore, were obviously unprepared completely. We don't have those sirens or anything, and people don't know what to do with a tornado on the wall. I heard someone call Springfield "something like Armageddon", and it was just a weak tornado.

Crazy.

I went up to springfield today and damage all over the place. Couldn't get to the worst parts obviously because they are closed off. Tons of videos coming out... Saying Monson, MA might have gotten hit by an EF4 tornado.... Completely unheard of around here.
