Played against Shaq in high school. The word man child was invented for him. Was a better performer than he was a basketball player. It's hard not to dominate when you have some skills and are that size. He was a really good player and it was hard not to root for him.

he's doing a pretty bad job of it, even though he's as dominant as he (dwight) is. he thinks he has a multi-faceted post-up game and he doesn't (yet, at least). shaq was able to be somewhat one-dimensional because he could get to the rim in the post better than howard could ever dream of doing. his footwork for a man of his size is probably the best of all time, though i haven't done a study on the topic.
