Most of the tour players are likely celebrating due to the simple fact Ivey's out of the series. One big obstacle out of the way.

Whether he plays in the WSOP or not it doesn't matter as he's already loaded. As for the regular players not getting money is what's wrong with a major poker site like Fulltilt.

A lot of the 'poker celebs' will be eager to jump on his jock and not play in this years series, proving they are just as cool. Meaning whoever wins the main event this year will have to have an * next to his name. "Yeah, but he won it the year Ivey and the rest of them didn't play, so it doesn't really count."
