#39Unfortunately no. A sportsbook has vig and each time rollover is value at about 5% off. Plus, books know that a lot of the players actually want to gamble, not just get a cashout freeebies so the cost to them is much lower than if they wrote a check or sent you a cash giftcard. It was really the perfect thing for both the book and the player.Originally posted by doublej95Will they be reasonable though. $50 Bodog sports cash 730 points, $50 Target gift card 1062 points. I would reason a $50 cash gift card would be about the same amount of points as the value of the gift cards already in the store.
But still, if you are arguing Pro is "not worth it" you may not be very good at math. If you don't win a contest, free roll or single trivia question youre getting $400 worth of free stuff or cash for giving your acct #. It should be more like $800-$1000. If you aren't a pro but youre here anyway, you left that on the table.Comment -

#41Not to mention, if you are a half way decent poker player, you can definitely win a couple hundred (minimum) points playing in the daily tourneys or cash games.Originally posted by Bill DozerUnfortunately no. #44Nah man, pretty sure I saw a post by an admin a little while back saying to renew we will be able to just use the same book we became pro with.Originally posted by doublej95Why would I want to load up with a new book when I can just reloaded with one of the three that I already bet at. To renew you PRO status you have to deposit with a sponsored book that you do not already have an account with.Comment -

#49It's still worth it to become a pro. Doesn't really cost you anything at all. Just not as valuable as before. Definitely a hot to the value per point with this change.Comment -

#50No you weren't you broke fukk. If any of you are playing at a sponsored book you don't need to make a new account anywhere to renew it...as long as you have $200 in there before.Originally posted by ttwarrior1yeh and i was planning on becoming sbr pro this week but no reason too now

#51No question I will renew.
The bash alone is worth it.
300$ free airfare returned
150$ per night in the hotel (300 total)
Up to 2k in free poker winnings
Food, drinks, free stuff, ect
200 deposit makes JUST the bash goodies well worth itComment -

They havent said there wont be no cash....but it only makes sense. If they are afraid of getting busted by offering sportsbook freeplays and cash in the store....same case can be made by giving them away in contest. I was here before the points and I'll be here after the points. Its the best board by far....
