If I did the math right, since he got true parlay odds (by betting numbers off -110), his EV is over $180 but still less then 187.5 offered by betting 8 legs of the typical parlay...

You can get a lot higher EV then this from a freeplay but you aren't going to be able to bet all legs of a three team parlay (which some books may not like anyhow)...
