        i can assure you that as a nation protected by thousands of miles of oceans, if we quit meddling in othecountries' affairs, nobody would hate us or want to attack us so i'm not buying the "we need to keep blowing up r sand to keep us safe" argument. when's the last time someone wanted to attack switzerland or new zealand?


        How much $$ do we spend on our military industrial complex? It absolutely hamstrings our economy, investment, infrastructure etc. If we stayed out of Iraq, we would not be raising the debt ceiling. Can't tell that to the party of "conservative", "family values" (your family is not included).
