How could you forget Rodman, one of the best defensive players in the league for many many years. For his size he was capable of shutting most anyone down. I think he could handle Dirk or Lebron because he was smarter than people think and got in players heads...oh and he was fukin crazy...still is

LeBron is technically listed as a SF, but he can lock down almost any 1-4s on the court because he is so athletically superior.

Some of the best defensive guards ever were Jordan and Dennis Johnson.

Dont sleep on the 93'-95' Sonics either. Hard to think of a team that has had better defense from the PG spot all game. Gary Payton to start, and then Nate McMillian off the bench!

Good point. Rodman was a great GUARD. The offense always ran through him and was always on the 1 or 2 guard defensively. Thanks for the insight.
