Why does a person have to make good on debt rung up in their name if someone assumes their identity?

It would be like a woman saying they were impregnated by a person impersonating Michael Jordan or Wayne Gretzky that they didn't know wasn't Jordan or Gretzky at the time and now the real Jordan and Gretzky have to pay child support.

Here's a kicker.Guys in Minnesota who thought they got a woman pregnant and really didn't after DNA tests were taken after paying child support for years were told by judges they had to keep paying child support. Is that looney tunes or what!!!!!!!

The "guys in minnesota" obviously had an awful lawyer.

the chicks lawyer probably argued that since he never disputed that he was the father at the very start, then he intended the act of concieving a child.
