Extreme fighting, good boxer puncher always trumps far east exotic style crap.
The age old argument is that all that far east Crouching-stooping-squatting dragon crap is always superior to boxing. The problem there is that everyone who does this stuff is under 5'-8'' and under 150 pounds so how is anyone ever going to find out if anyone this tiny can beat a heavyweight boxer.

Even Chuck Norris with his artsy fartsy roundhouse kicks would get his butt kicked if he went up against a journeyman heavyweight club fighter boxer.

Did anyone see the first fight on CBS last night where the out of shape looking,Mr.T lookalike that could only punch beat the fantsy schmantsy kung fu,karate-Jigitzue guy in about 40 seconds.Mr.T didn't even hit him with a flush full power punch and the guy was incapacitated.

One thing I noticed in Extreme fighting is that either the fighters hold back and don't hit punches hard on purpose to exposed faces or they are incapable of punching hard.

That fight last night was crazy. Can't believe I took the odds I did (-512) on Kimbo.I was shitting my pants when he was in that choke hold in the first round and put his hand up.I thought he was tapping out but he was supposedly saying he was ok. Needless to say, it doesn't look like Kimbo is going to have a long career in MMA unless he continues to fight stiffs.Once he was on the ground he was pretty much useless and any fighter with a decent ground game should be able to beat him. Of course if you stand in the ring and just try to punch him all match then you will get slaughtered

Has anyone ever seen a tape of the Ali-far east expert guy fight where the guy did a crab-turtle routine laying on the mat kicking as both offense and defense ''mostly defense.hehe!''of the ring so he wouldn't get KO'd ''killed'' and not be able to enjoy his ill gotten gains big paycheck. If he had to do that to survive against Ali,what would he have done against a pure no nonsense puncher like Tyson was in his prime?

It would have enraged Tyson and Tyson would have killed the guy with one punch even though he would have gotten his balls kicked really good breaking through the girlie kick defense.

I guess Alli's shins were bruised pretty bad and Tyson wouldn't have waited around for round after round putting up with that crap.
