I hope they dont go choosing teams based on some popularity contest in PT.

Four teams and then award points based on tourney finishes for a week or so would be good. If teams are aroudn 10-15 per you could end week or contest with a 60 man tourney involving all contestants.

Award points split on individual and team basis.

I like this idea cause I think I would qualify. Only a single cash in a bunch of Final Tables though so maybe I wouldn't. Wonder if SBR tracks Final Tables or if they can only track in the money?

Fold or die!Fuk'in Ryder cup poker teams, yeah I can see this is gonna be real fair and impartial! Why not start an sbr bridge club or weekly spades and gin rummy team. Golf and poker, two great things that absolutely do not fuk'in go together. Just bring back the regular tournament format and Friday S&G's!

Like I said We have about 20 solid US regular poker players here so picking just 9 will result in a lot of BS/Ranting. I'd hate to have to be team captain of USA because man oh man will there be hate directed at you no matter how you go.

If I had to pick a USA team captain though I'd go 4uk4life or Downsouth or even Thaddeus. All are pretty level headed and won't just pick out of favoritism. Hell two of the three I know wouldn't even pick me so that says a lot if I'm willing to list them. Like all guys here I just want a chance to play.
