I am a bruins fan. and even i know the lightning are the better team. tampa beat Pittsburgh and Washington, two of the best teams in the east. both are a lot better than the flyers and montreal, the teams boston beat. remember that tampa was down 3games-1 against pittsburgh, and then they won 3 straight to win the series, starting an 8 game win streak, including a sweep of the top ranked washington capitals. thomas is only reason bruins are where they're at. bruins are choke artists. lightning is the play. they're forecheck just dominates boston all game and they're physicality dominates boston. both have led to several goals this series. the analysis that "switching goalies" makes them lose is very poor reasoning. i think the game will have nothing to do with psychology of switching goalies. they gave roloson a day's rest. Roloson is the 2nd best goalie in playoffs so far (although Luongo's performance last night would have an objection).

tampa has a lot of speed, lot of offensive weapons, great forecheck, more physicality, and great neutral zone play. If boston is forced to dump/chase all night, they're in big trouble. Bruins have done mediocre with battles along the boards but not great... and when tampa cranks it up a notch, i'm not even comfortable with the bruins if they have a 2 goal lead. now, of course if thomas takes over the game like he has many others, bruins have a shot. but that's their only hope of winning. tampa is better than the bruins as a team. obviously the goaltending advantage with thomas minimized their advantage. but seeing the way tampa played with their backs against the wall vs. Pittsburgh, i think they can crank out a game 6 win. i expect them to come out with a lot of speed and physicality, like they have in many others. tough for bruins to stop them in neutral zone when they bring fresh legs.
