Really? The Yankees are losing on Sunday even though they are favorites, Rasner is pitching lights out and the Twins pitcher has opposing hitters batting over .300 against him.

Wow. Be sure to shine up your crystal ball. It is getting a bit cloudy.

They are favored AND they have their hottest starter on the mound AND the opposing pitcher is being hit at an over .300 pace ... AND the Yanks are playing their best ball of the season by far ...

But the Twins are a lock. Go figure.

You are forgiven. Just try to have more intelligent opinions and we won't have this problem in the future.

Actually, that wasn't an opinion. That was a prayer. Anyone with a Rays avatar I would expect to know the difference.

(you do know it's May ... wait, now it's June ... and we all know where you'll be in October ... right?)

The avatar is just showing a bit of gratitude to a team that's been quite the moneymaker thus far this season, to the tune of +12.4 units, which is only marginally better than the Yanks -6.78 showing through the first 2 months. But who's keeping track?

Better get all your bets in before October. Can't bet on the Rays then.

I would agree with this. In fact, I think the time to back the Rays with any regularity has already come and gone.

BTW, I fully expect the Yanks to make a run after the All-Star Break and be right there come September.

Yanks are not a playoff team...They may get there, but will make an early exit.

They don't seem to mesh at all.
