My post over there was simply pointing out a recent fact connected to the issues of the day. I don't see any relevance to the issue which you obviously want to take me to task over.

The poster I scolded here was in chat at the time, desperate for some attention, and when it wasn't given to him, he decided to start an alarmist thread advising people to withdraw all their offshore funds in anticipation of some gambling apocalypse. I called him out on his attempt to sate his ego with other posters' hysteria, as I would anyone else who was yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theatre, as it were.

As precedent, I cite a portion of Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.'s opinion in Schenck v. United States (1919):

The most stringent protection of free speech would not protect a man falsely shouting fire in a theater and causing a panic. [...] The question in every case is whether the words used are used in such circumstances and are of such a nature as to create a clear and present danger that they will bring about the substantive evils that Congress has a right to prevent.

Free speech doesn't protect someone trying to incite panic for their own benefit, nor for their entertainment.

First let me note how ironic it is that you cite AMERICAN law on a site run out of Coasta Rica. You're such a narcisist. Not surprising really, seeing that your entire life style is a plea for attention.

TTwarrior had started a thread that was deleted as were several others all regarding bookmakers domain being seized. SBR censoring speech clearly shows where their interests lie. SBR has no intentions of being fair and partial. The whole point of that thread was two-fold. It was certainly to make a point that SBR censors the opinions of anyone that doesn't support their A+ books. It was also to debate the security of funds in an offshore sportsbook. It is certainly not beyond reasonable doubt that these books quit taking US action and in the process don't pay out remaining balances for US customers. See FullTilt for a recent example.

Just because you take the time to write a essay for every single response you give dosent make you intelligent. I questioned your integrity because I get the sense you're now a corporate slave. Which is fine. If in your job description it states you must protect the assets of the company that pays your light bill...well...you need your power on. I wouldnt hold that against someone.

What I would hold against someone is having the intention of misleading people for their own personal gain. Im older than you. I was placing bets at SIA/Intertops and Bowmans...taking payouts at 3am straight to my neteller card when you were doing whatever it is people do down under. Playing with a kangaroo? Who knows?

A fellow poster made a thread here today 'at a watchdog site' in regards to one of the top books in the offshore industry being messed with by the FBI and homeland security. The thread was toyed with. Its cute you dropped by in this thread to try and divert attention from that. Spinning a web where its all about me vs you and my 'tinfoil' hat. I asked how much your integrity was worth and it seems I struck a nerve.

At the end of the day I might be known as someone who said "I wont post anymore" or "the staff is bias" blah blah. You might want to ask yourself how will you be looked at when the day is over. It's hard not to observe you when part of my job is to go through as many threads as possible. And unfortunately I have a pretty good memory so even if I want to just dismiss things as rubbish, they tend to stick.

As far as working really hard for my Mod position here, I'm not even sure where you'd get that idea but I guess I should be flattered maybe that you saw me as politically correct? Many, many others have stated the complete opposite - both before and after I've become a Mod, privately and publicly, so I'm going to use you as an example of someone who feels I indeed do try to post only PC things in matters of some importance. Because that's the difference between you and I: I don't go off spouting bullshit theories and crying foul before actually doing some homework ie saying links were never deleted before Ray's thread, that I had deleted ttwarrior's thread, that it had even been deleted at all, etc... I try to post facts or say nothing at all - this forum is full of enough fluff that I'd think someone like you, who likes to say how much you know about anything and everything, would at least attempt to strive to keep the crap to a minimum so focus isn't lost on what's important. Guess not.

And for what it's worth, I was offered this job out of the blue - a large part because due to the time difference, I'm able to work on the forum when most others can't or wouldn't want to.
