There's a massive difference between a regular power play and 3 consecutive 5 on 3's.

Not saying the penalties weren't legit, just saying how much can your pp unit learn by watching 5 on 3's steamroll.

I agree with you on that front but regardless the Sharks went 0/5 on the PP early and that's why they lost the game. The Canucks PK allowed them to steal the momentum and SJ got unlucky with allowing a couple 5 on 3's.
