Having watched the video, I still have concerns how you would be able to do this with a family. Sounds like your wife has a pretty secure job...I can't imagine you have more than 10 more years with yours before being fully vested...do it after that.

However if I left and took that retirement it would be around 450 every two weeks starting 2031 with ZERO COLA (Cost of Living Allowance). Therefore I n 2031 I will still get 450 every two weeks even if it is worth close to nothing.

I got to do alot of thinking. Need to talk more serious with guys like YOU, FISH, OPIE at the BASH or in VEGAS.

Christ, the cops around here get 80% their salary when they retire (I imagine drawing about 35k upwards). The way you put it, your idea doesn't seem bad after all.

I am getting even more depressed EI. I am lucky my wife works at a very rich department so she does very well. I need no matter what for one of us to get a pension. The idea if I left my job and went to Vegas was for her to stay at her job. I would then be home from SEP-MARCH when the girls are in school the most.

Let me tell everyone I put a lot of thought into it, it just takes so much BALLS you guys have no idea.

It is alot easier to plan it.

I said it before the day I put the resignation letter in before was so difficult I could not sleep.
