He's just young. And being asked to be a leader on a team going all the way to the WCF. It's a tough spot for any young player. He needs to spend some time in the offseason working on really learning how to be a PG, and the team needs to develop a more sophisticated halfcourt game and more patience.

Maybe. You have to give credit to the Mavs defense instead of just piling blame on Westbrook. They're doing a fantastic job of keeping him from penetrating the paint.

If you prefer "undeveloped" instead of "young" then that's fine. Bottom line is he's not really a point guard. He doesn't know how to play the position but his natural athleticism allows him to function really well in the position against most defensive units. He needs to spend time with a mentor PG this summer outside of the OKC organization as he's clearly not getting the coaching he needs to develop.
