The site that publishes someone's post isn't liable - and Craigslist was actually involved in a major case that set the precedence for this - but the person who posted the info can be as long as the victim can confirm the poster's identity and there exists a reasonable assumption that damages could be caused either financially or to one's reputation.

this did not have a full face picture, did not contain any last names (real or fake), no city.. like i said from the beginning it is a non issue and would not hurt his image as bad as chat roulette (if he were actually worried about it).
