I disagree with most posts in this thread but I agree with this one.

Gambling in general is a rush,I know people who don't gamble who are depressed and antisocial as well.check out how much fun your married friends are having.I don't see to many,well,none actually,of my married friends going out.guys who used to be alot of fun sit at home every night.The most miserable people I know are my square friends who never have any fun and just go to work and come home.always negative to talk to

You have to marry gambling with other interests ,but some people could never gamble and they would still have alot of these symptoms.

I love the rush,it's just like going to the gym,traveling, sex, and alot of other things.the year i gave up gambling I was miserable,didn't call anyone,sat around all the time

jj, i know guys that lose 150k every year in gambling and are living the life, NEVER in front of computer, always out in restaurants eating great food, goint to sporting events, bang broads, 12 weeks a yr on vacation, and they are happy.. they put in their bets for 5 min a day and it is not controlling them.


then i know guys who make 30k a yr every yr in gambling, and are miserable and suicidal. they are unhappy, they never leave the house, they are obsessed with gambling, no social skills and never bang broads..JJ, winning or losing has no bearing on it. it's how you handle the gambling. if it controls you, you're a goner. and 87% of posters here are controlled by gambling. they are sick gamblers..

Sharky when I was down there picking up money a ways back I had to fight with the local rebels in the fukkin Hills. I twas bizarre. I was in my hut and some guys come up to me and said I was on their land and needed to fight with them against another rival group. So I had to go into the hills and fight with them.
