Those number look even better when you find out he started 6-28 w 1 home run in his first game, befor being fitted for contact lenses.

Since then he is batting 486/549/817 w/ 21 2Bs 7HR over 19 games.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. I've seen too many people ruined from that. You take a kid that's had nothing but success in his life and then introduce him to failure? He needs to progress up the ranks and build up his skills and confidence. Too many people have been ruined from getting thrown to the wolves too early.

Kid looks legit. Agree w/ C-gold's last post. Baseball is a lot like golf, in this sense. Sure, you have to have some physical tools. Also, have to have the mental game. Can you make adjustments? Can you answer the bell every day? Many "phenoms" have fallen by the wayside.

He probably won't taste the majors until Next September. My guess is September 1st,2012. If I was in charge I would give him a cup of coffee this September.
