Google the term "homelessness in canada". There seems to be a huge and growing probelm with this in Canada as well. So why doesnt ur gov't take care of its own ? I can asure you its the saem reason we dont.

problem is that once someone develops a serious drug addiction, they will generally do anything to get that drug. Even if it means going through their rent money, food money, etc. Our govt tries to help by giving them food stamps, social security, HSDS, etc. I dont know all the programs but there are so many. How is it our gov'ts fault if these people sell their food stamps for cash so they can buy drugs ? How is it our govts fault if these people cant keep a place because they get evicted for doing drugs, or drug away all the rent money? Its not a problem with any easy solution, ur govt has figured out all the answers and neither has ours or any other.

And as far as all the wars we fight, you do know that helps Canada a lot too. What do you really think would happen if we didnt take the terrorist threat seriously and al queda overran us ? You think Canada would really be safe ? For real now.
