(this Is Why It's Tough To Win Gambling)
minutes before the cubs game, i get guys calling me up begging me to put in bets for them on Cubs over 8.5.. They tell me it's the easiest money they will ever make. It's a licence to print money. The announcer on WGN repeated 4 times that the wind is blowing out hard. When i say NO, they get mad at me and say i am costing them.. they tell me they are good for it and will pay me tonight.

So i give them the bet on CUBS over 8.5.

when it was 2-0 in the 1st, they all call me up laughing and thanking me for the easy money.

as you see here, this game was NEVER close. 3-1 final.

To make a long story short, no matter what line you see that you think is a mistake, it's NOT.. these oddsmakers are so ahead of the gambler, it's not funny..

They knew that 8.5 is the right line.. so the moral of the story is, if you think you are outsmarting the oddsmakers, think again. the research that is put on these lines is quite impressive. When you see the wind is really blowing out, the total will be 12.5. if the wind is gusting in, it will be 7 un -135 you just can't outsmart these guys.

I wish i would have booked those bets.. now i got to go collect from these deadbeats..

Solid Post Nicky, impossible to beat them

Nicky bet both sides to a game and try to grind out a small scalp profit but that is real hard now because not enough good books giving opinionated lines.

Only other way is try the percentage angle, if NBA favs are like on a 38-12 run take the next 50 dogs and prey.

        Nicky you cannot beat them.

Webbersports nailed it on the head. With all these unders in MLB, things
should balance out at some point - keep an eye on it.
