I was looking at the Ipads and Xoom last week.

From what I gathered Ipads don't have Flash, Xoom does.

Have the iPad 2. Love it. Use it all the time, even at home. This past weekend took it out of town with me. Its awesome instead of lugging along a laptop.

-Either one is a great investment if you ask me .they both are capable of handling basic computer needs +more.

I don't think I'd take it out anywhere in public.

Use it when I take a shit or when I'm laying in bed. I keep my laptop downstairs and don't want to waste the battery on my phone. I'd also use it when riding in a car getting internet tethered from my phone(not while driving of course) Also watch a few movies on there.

I use mine instead of taking one of my laptops on trips or to the golf course. Coupled with a HotSpot by Verizon makes it seriously convenient.

My brother got one a couple of weeks ago and he likes it. I would like to have one when I'm sitting around watching sports instead of having a notebook on my lap.

Xoom is better unless you absolutely must have every useless app that you'll never use.

I got a Xoom and I can say it will be better once more app come out for it but if you don't need the flash I would go with the Ipad right now.

I just bought an iphone4 for $325 from a pawn shop. there is prepaid wireless services I can jailbreak it on for $58/month unlimited everything. I don't like their PCs but MAC makes good s_hit.

This is pretty much what it's best for. I have the MLB app with the online package and it's effin awesome. Watching bulls game on tv and flipping back and forth between different baseball games on the pad.

The hp tablet coming out looks like it is going to be the truth. All the upside of the iPad with windows 7 and flash like a real computer.

I have it as well and it's the best thing! The Ipad is great to have and I use it all the time.

don't really like my ipad, other than for email and documents for work... this does not come up that often...

use my iphone a lot more.

currently looking at the samsung infuse (4.5 inch mobile) or samsung galaxy s2 (4.3 inches) as something inbetween that would serve my purposes. iphone screen is slightly small.

ipads don't have flash because flash fails. often. but you can have a browser that runs flash if you want on an ipad..download skyfire for those necessary pages that haven't realized just how many bugs are located in flash (a microsoft product, go figure)

Heck it is better for a few hundred more to get an 11 inch macbook air which does everything and almost as small

worked for apple for 2 years, just resigned. I have to admit that even though I don't work there anymore I think the ipad is amazing, the touch the feel, the fluidity of the operating system, reading booksm, watching movies and playing games is effortless.

Sit watching the game, logged into Pinny, jumping between live betting and various forums.

Was watching all the highlights from the MLB site on it.
