I hope you guys keep pounding Detroit. Mabye I'll get +105 for twins by game start. I just haven't read one good comment on here to why Detroit seems like a pound it play. Everybody seems to agree that twins suck right now, so bet against them. If thats your gambiling strategy then please get another profession or 2nd job. Porcello=bad on the road and Twins record after coming off a road trip is great. By the way most of the 33 games have been on the road for the Twins. Liriano struggled earlier but looks like he has settled in. Theres no place like Dome.

All the value on Detroit is gone. They opened +120 and are now -103. You're not going to win long term betting into a price that's moved 23 cents off the opener.

Why are people saying Porcello is bad on the road? He has 1 bad start on the road this year. Last road start @ cleveland, 7 innings 2 runs. Before that, @ Seattle 6.2 innings, 1 run. before that, @ Oakland, 6 innings and 1 run. He had a few bad starts to start this year, but since has been very solid going relatively deep into games.

Liriano on the other hand has not been good. There was talk that he could get sent to the bullpen before his no hitter. Now we are supposed to forget everything that happened before last week with him? I don't think so. Also, pitchers do tend to falter after no hitters, but that is by no means a true handicapping angle.

Detroit's offense is finally getting going. They have one of the top 3 hitters in the majors with Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez back and rolling is a huge boost. On the other end of the spectrum, the twins offense has been struggling for quite a while. Mauer was not playing well, but he is out. Also, they are coming off an extra innings game.

I love detroit in this spot. I took them at +107 last night. I currently see them at -115.

I also like the notion that all of a sudden Liriano has settled in. He got a no-hitter, congratulations, but in reality - it could mean very little for him going forward. He let 7 runs in 2 of his 3 starts prior to the no hitter. That is 7. Also had 6 walks in the no-no. that will often lead to trouble. This is a place for discussion, but people need to do a little research or have a little knowledge sometimes.

I'm a Tigers fan and have been hitting with them on their current hot streak recently. I think they'll win tonight. However, Cabrera clearly isn't completely healthy and has struggled offensively lately. That being said, I think this should be a standard play, not a huge one. Good luck guys!

Let me just say something here speaking from experience: MIN opened at -126 and is now -102 (actually went to + money earlier).

I've noticed that any move that goes more than 20 cents in one direction for a baseball game is hardly ever good to follow.

Sounds like very solid advice. With no news there´s no reason to think the original numbers would be that much off in baseball.
