With recent zeroing of a players account due to supposed "bot usage" as well as the DOS attacks, what is the future of 5dimes? Do they go down the EZstreet path? Anybody have a crystal ball and care to speculate?

The site has been experiencing a DDOS for several days. It is a common occurrence and no sportsbook is immune to them. I think that 5dimes is safe going forward. I might reevaluate playing in any online casino/sportsbook casino for the time being as it seems the recession is making the books tighten up and they are using the casino as an easy out. But as with everything you should do the risk assessment yourself. I'm probably just being a nit about it.Comment -
I liked 5Dimes for the brief period of time I was playing there. I took the bonus a couple of years ago, placed enough bets to clear the WR and when I wanted to withdraw some of the balance I was reduced to $50 per game limits. So it has been down for me for a long time.Comment -

I wouldn't deposit at 5dimes again, customer service is sub standard. I won a couple hundred dollars and they tried everything they could to get me to not withdraw, added fees, lied etc. Never hear much about betjam anymore, had some good experiences there.Comment -

Their live chat isn't secure either. Someone got ahold of my acct# and password awhile back after i used live chat to get a $gram name.. My password was changed without my permission and someone tried to withdrawal through my account via moneybookers but luckily it didnt go through.. The CS reps were baffled and had no answer.. They didn't believe me. I have accounts at every A+ book and this never happened except for 5dimes. Security is an issue thereComment -

Dude Thank You been saying this for at least two years they stall lie try every trick in the book to get you not to withdraw their cs sucks. You, Me, and Ngates the only ones i've ever seen bring it up on sbr, really makes me wonder if anybody else is cashing out or are they just picking on US. I play there because most of my bets are mma and they have early lines and allow parlays once i find a book that beats them im ghost... soo sick of jumping through hoops everytime i withdraw... so sick of their dumb ass rude cs reps.Comment -
I've been using 5dimes for ten years. Never a problem except one time they thought I was wrong when I told them an MLS win they gave me was actually a loss. By the time they'd figured out I was right, and that they'd wrongly paid me, I had maxed out my account on the losing end of a great scalp and was actually -$300 to them. Yes, a negative post-up account balance.
I liked 5Dimes so much I paid them the money to keep using the account.
5Dimes attracts more bitching than any other good book. Maybe there's a good reason, but I know of no non-sleaze players who have trouble with them.
And as far as "really makes me wonder if anybody else is cashing out," I cashed for 2k out very quickly on a withdrawal I requested on Black Friday.Comment -
