Law enforcement should stay out of sports unless the situation ends up off the court i.e. Ron Artest jumping into the stands. Obviously, there are emotions in sports and sports themselves are inherently physical. It would be one thing if after the hit Bynum jumped on top of the guy and started beating the piss out of him but he didn't. It was blatantly obvious that it was intentional but I just don't think charges are warranted for this type of incident in general.
