    Premier Turf Club?
I passed on the info i saw on this board a few days ago, re Premier Turf Club, to a guy I know who regularly plays horses.

He says he seems to recall another outfit in North Dakota from a couple years ago, that got into trouble with the tracks over the size of the rebates they were offering, and also some kind of problem with the IRS, re its customers.

Is PTC the same group as that one? Or is my friend remembering wrong?

Here is the original thread, posted by Kellen, that had several replies praising Premier Turf. (if i wasn't so Sun morning lazy I would have dug up that thread and asked on it first)

But the other was also based in North Dakota, says my acquaintance. That's not NY, Calif or Texas, nothin' there but prairie dogs and a handful of people in covered wagons . . .

Prob the same folks as before -- how long has Premier Turf been in biz?

And what the **** is in Costa Rica? I'm not their spokesperson, never even played there. Just know a lot of people that do and are very pleased with them.

Legit site but many states are not allowed to play there like NJ

My name is Ian Meyers and I am the CEO of Premier Turf Club. A quick introduction, and a follow-up to a couple of questions.

We are the first and only ADW in the U.S. run by horseplayers- for horseplayers. This is my first foray into the ADW business, though I have been betting horses for more than 30 years both as a hobby, and a profession after I left the banking business.

We have/had nothing to do with the earlier ND-based ADW referenced here, Racing Services. We were incorporated in October 2006, and have held a North Dakota simulcast license since December 2006. We have been vetted by many racing commissions, and successfully completed the 4 month TRPB due diligence investigation (at our own expense at a cost of $50k). We developed all of our own internet wagering software, have the fastest, most robust site on the net and have been profiled a number of times in magazines such as Blood Horse.

Fell free to contact me at ian@premierturfclub.com or visit the site at www.premierturfclub.com.

                Best regards,
                Ian Meyers

For a state as small as North Dakota is and with their miniscule presence in horse racing, there is some weird stuff going on there concerning racing.I live 3 1/2 hours from both Fargo and Grand Forks and a middle eastern family named Bawa?even tried honing in on acquiring Canterbury Park here in Minnesota awhile back. They just moved in like a hostile takeover right out of the Soprano's.There is always trouble out there with what goes on in the OTB's.I just can't figure how a place so far removed from big city corruption can have the problems they do with that kind of stuff.
