LT Profits is shocking me. Mr. Underdog has chosen three favorites, a pick 'em, and only one minor underdog.

I expected him to see picks like +310, +250, +180, +200, etc. from LT Profits.

I guess it goes to show, when the chips are down, favorites really are more reliable (that's my opinion).

          Hey guys.

If you looked at all of my MLB picks the last three days, you will see that I really had no big underdogs. The biggest only decent sized-dog I had over these three days is Cincinnati today, and they do not rate as one of my top two plays of the day. It just so happened that the contest coincided with days where I didn't have any value dogs. Let's see what happens when the new series start in MLB tomorrow.

          And way to go wtt!

I should also add that yes, favorites are more reliable in a short seven-play contest like this, while dogs are better in the long run. You know you'd see a ton of dogs from me if a contest lasted a month or more.

And if those end up 4-1, that's fine.

Actually I had a +111 winner yesterday and I have a +107 today, so that would be two dogs. Others were -121 (W), -120 (L) and -117 (today), so it's not like I'm playing -140s.

Agreed. Wtt pwning LT is the shock of the tourney so far, LTs a good capper but has so far not demonstrated that in this tourney. Shows just how tough capping MLB and NBA can be some days

I think it shows how anything can happen in a 7-game tourney of this ilk.

You guys do realize I am 2-1 right, and I am + units? LOL

It is just that wtt is 3-1 with +177 and +200 winners. And yes I give him HUGE props! But let's see where we end up unit-wise if I finish 5-2 or 6-1.

There can't be any surprises in this contest. It's just for fun, not to show who's better.

MAdcapper deserves to beat me because he has the balls to pick Zito. That right there should give him the title. I am 3-1 but sucking it up in units and I was stupid today and took the yankees so I really deserve the loss now.

Not trying to be critical you are doing very well recordwise just shocked that wtt is up 3 units on ya in the first round, had you picked to be in the final four, was just commenting that this is the biggest upset so far in the tourney, that's the best compliment to your capping talent you can get that you being beat is the biggest upset, sorry if you took it negatively LT, gl coming back your Arizona pick is looking golden

Oh no offense taken bettill! The point is I am only three games in, so making up almost 3 units with a game in hand (he's made 4 plays) is not impossible.

A lot of real good/interesting matchups right now. It's going to be interesting to see how the strategies play out.

Me and Hogan are locked in a good one, I'm 3-2 +1.37 and he's 3-2-1 +1.06 after todays action.

lt i will say you are one of the best class acts on here and i have got lucky with the -1.5 yankees and then bostons first win. i have to try some underdogs to get a lead on you and lucky i have hit. you won the two today and so far i hit my first but i have the lakers ml so hopefully i can get a little more lead on you so i can coast some, but damn cant you just lose some to make it a little easier
