Between Trevor calling it at the track and the NBC TV announcer the call sucked ass soooooooo bad. Didn't any of these network morons think about this before hand?

The guy from NYRA didn't resign his contract due to health reasons. I'm being serious, it made the race not enjoyable at all. The guy who was calling the races at the track is a top notch track announcer. The guy calling it on TV is also very good. It just doesn't make sense. Their voices were drowning out each other, at least for the tv audience.

No not dead just not in the best of health these days. May soon be dead for the little guys in the game though. Just 5 yrs ago middle class folks were making a living at the lower levels of horse racing. Now not so much anymore.

I have watched the race four times, NBC was stumbling the whole time. It is unbelievable that they cannot get the listening audience a race call with some clarity. It is not like they are presently covering any other sports, or maybe that is the problem. An abysmal effort from the behind-the-scenes personnel.
