Didn't mean it like that. Just saying his chances of having a great debut have increased. Certainly not knocking him. Should be exciting to see what he can do with a favorable strike zone.

Ya, I would go philly under the team total if I was to play a total in this game. Hard to do with a guy making his debut though.

Hirschbeck. 59% Unders since 1999 (don't have data from earlier years). When I watch him live I'm surprised he's only 59%.

Taking guys on their debut is not a bad bet. If the kid shows composure he should do fine. The opposing batters have not seen the guy pitch, so they will be out there guessing. But its not like Ryan Howard doesnt guess anyway lolz.
