he paid $124 million down + the rent of $100 million/year. that's it. value of the properties was $3.2 billion, amortized over 99 years, with time value of money that worked out to $100 million/year.
NOBODY would buy property that was full of asbestos and technologically outdated on a 99-year lease unless they knew something was going to happen 6 weeks after they signed the papers. and proof of this was that larry AND both of his kids (wow 3 for 3) all missed the daily meeting (that they had never missed before) on the morning of september 11 in the wtc due to laughable circumstances. wow what a lucky coincidence!Comment
