I am an old cynical curmudgeon. Why? Because I grew up in Chicago as a fanatical Cub fan. Hell I was born the year after they won their last pennant and I may soon have to be put down due the infirmaties of old age.

Stopped giving a chit about them years ago, but those early years have had a deleterious effect on the rest on my life for sure. Thinking year after year that a .500 record is cause to celebrate. Somtimes celebrating a rain out cause they didn't lose that day. Geez!!!
