Bart Bryant, world golf ranking #51 vs. Paul Goydos, world ranking # 64.

The week before Goydos' 2nd place finish in the TPC 2 weeks ago, he had a world ranking of #170.

Bryant shot 72 in the 1st round, and is in danger of missing the cut if he has a mediocre 2nd round. Of the 6 tournaments this year where he has shot over 70 in the 1st round, he has improved by at least 2 shots in the 2nd round 5 times. He has made the cut in 7 of the last 8 tournaments he's been entered.

Goydos opened with an excellent 68 in his 1st round. After coming from out of nowhere to finish 2nd in the prestigious TPC 2 weeks ago, he followed that performance up by missing the cut last week at the AT&T. This is the 4th time this year Goydos has opened with a 68, and the 3 previous times he has shot at least 3 strokes higher in his 2nd round.

Past history does point to a big advantage in the 2nd round for Bryant, but he made a lot of bogeys yesterday, and may not be liking this course very much. Still, on the surface, +115 looks not so great for Goydos.

NORMALLY with very few exeptions you have to use the yearly stats, really just because a player shoots -5 one day doent mean crap,or finishes in the top 25 4/10 weeks does not hold to much value thats why yearly stats, and OVERALL should be used reason
              WEATHER CONDITIONS,START TIMES,PLAYING WHEN SICK,PROPER SLEEP,FLAG POSITION,PRESSURE,MATCHUPS[GROUPS OF 4 OR 2],ROUND SPEED,WEEKS PLAYED W/W OFFTIME,PRACTICE TIME
all those above effect each player, everyday they tee it up thus overall on course performane stats hold true value to a players ability to accept adherance to their performance

looks like you did your homework
lets compare some stats and see who would be the best bet, driving accuracy, and other otherwise important stats do not bare that much importance this week so well stick yo bread, and butter

              p goydos
              average score per round 72
              putts per round avg 29
              birdies per round avg 2.91

              b bryant
              avg score per round 70
              putts per round avg 29
              birdies per round avg 3.4

bryant +115 is clearly better and yeilding nice value if his avg score per round was say only 71 then in order for it to hold value the putts would have to be 28,and alway make sure your guy has atleat a 1/2 stroke more in birds like the case here

one great way to pin point good weeks to bet are looking at previous years results for low,low scoring winners.By using that kind of info you then would know driving accuracy is most important for the most part, ect, ect
