yah, just wondering. Has anybody actually made money here?
All I hear are oh, I had a bad day, this and that. Stories about losing it all. Hanky stealing 20k from his great aunt to pay bets, etc. Anybody here actually make money or do you all just have gambling problems? What makes you continue unless your barkley that is, who can afford it as a hobby?

BTW, this is a serious question, I am in no way trying to stir the pot, although I guess that is what I am doing by posing this inquiry. I just don't understand the motivation. I mean I'll go to the casino and blow a couple hundred bux once or twice a year and it is fun to be up, but I know I'm not going to win. How many of you are barreled in because of your betting?

A bad beats/brags forum would be good, but everybody already does that in Players Talk. Plus it looks busier with most general crap bunched together.

And no, the very nature of this forum alone indicates most people here do not win over the long haul.

winning was much easier when pinnacle and betonsports were accessible. it is probable that i will continue winning, just not as much. unfortunately, what happened with betonsports has cast a cloud over this hobby, there is always a worry that a book will go down.

Occasionaly winning has been known to happen, I'm up this year due to a great February run, but certainly it is hard to win at sports gambling consistently. Especially after that Internet Gaming bill was passed in 06' that made it twice as tough to win.

for every winner there is always a loser, betting is a perfect way of showing that. I myself in sports betting am prob at best a break even maybe a lil better. The thing is that most us sports betting type our pretty good at it(speaking of people I know) but most our deg and get caught up in the pits in casino/online. The house will always have an edge or at worst break even. The point, to get you wanting more options in how to lose your money(there thinking). You have a big win on Saturday(College Football) and the books close on Saturday night(for you to place that Nfl Bet for tommorrow). Your feeling the itch to gamble o wait looks the craps, Black Jack ect. If sportsbetting ran 24/7 as in games I think some people would do alot better than they our. Just My thoughts on why some of us our in deep!

i know what your saying man, i wish they had sport games 24/7, there were so many times where i'd win some money then just lose it all within minutes playing poker online. poker online seems very fishy most of time anyways. I won a dime on one of the spurs/suns game and 15 minutes later that shit was gone in the online poker room.

overall i am in the hole, this shit is a drug
