If Pinnacle is the best price...

I have about 20 bookmakers to choose from but sometimes, especially near game time, Pinnacle has the best price of all of them.

My question is should this mean that I should abandon my bet as they are so sharp and/or could be laying a trap that the bet will almost never be a good one?

Yes it is not a good sign if pinny has the best price but you obviously can't always tell if they are right or not

Just from your handicapping pinnacle lines are probably the most accurate, but sometimes the market is off and even if you don't get the best line it is worth betting.

Say for example if pinnacle had the best line on the Grizzlies or the Hawks to win in the first round, I think that would of been a good bet because the whole market was off, but hard to know beforehand sometimes.

I guess a system could be made to bet the pick (elsewhere) if Pinny has the worst price. Problem is you might look as though you are chasing steam...
