The 2011 UFL Draft will feature a total of 52 selections. Some teams have additional picks as a result of trades that took place between teams during the 2010 season.

      Hartford Colonials Jerry Glanville @JerryGlanville
      Omaha Nighthawks Joe Moglia @UFLJoeMoglia
Sacramento Mountain Lions Dennis Green @UFLDennisGreen
      Virginia Destroyers Marty Schottenheimer @DestroyersMarty
Las Vegas Locos Jim Fassel @LocosJimFassel
Omaha Nighthawks Head Coach Joe Moglia held the second pick after the Nighthawks posted a 3-5 regular season record in 2010, and was followed by Dennis Green, whose Sacramento Mountain Lions went 4-4 last season. Marty Schottemheimer and the Virginia Destroyers, having inherited the protected player rights of the former 5-3 Florida Tuskers, claimed the fourth pick. UFL-Champion Head Coach Jim Fassel, whose Las Vegas Locos went 5-3 in 2010 and won the season finale, picked fifth overall.

Jerrod Johnson as the #1 pick is all you need to know about how big a joke that is. Guy did not even wind up the season as the starter on his team. Jeremiah Masoli!

How's this work, do college players have to put their name in the draft basically saying they're not gonna try to make the NFL?
