Give States the Right to Allow Sports Gambling
Although some form of gambling is allowable in almost every state, a hypocritical ban on sports gambling prevents Americans from legally placing a friendly wager anywhere outside of Nevada. NJ and Delaware are the latest states to attempt to realize the over $7 billion in lost tax revenue each year from illegal sports gambling.

Not only should Americans have the freedom to bet on sporting events, but states should be able to collect taxes by legalizing and regulating the activity. These new revenues, currently being lost to bookies, organized crime, and offshore Internet gambling operators, are critical to state budgets and could pour billions into education and other government programs.

The Safe and Secure Internet Gambling Initiative has been fighting on the national level for individuals rights to gamble legally online. We invite you to join the fight and contact your elected representatives at www.safeandsecureig.org.

    Thanks,

    Jeffrey Sandman

Americans have no brains and they're eating themselves with so much nonsense and stupid rules.

I thank god soon and with god's will I will be out of this country.

US of A should learn from Europeans how to run gambling business or let citizens to gamble without being worried about funds lost or whatever. That's it, I stopped betting with US / Offshore bookies, I got my own European websites (Bet365, Betfair) and I don't need to go into this crap.

I'm not voting for anything by the way. I'm voting to educate people how to bypass the stupid US rules and place bets with European bookies. PS Betfair will never limit you so if you're really good with Sports betting and also worried about getting paid you would really like to dedicate a few hours to study how to use Betfair - I'm seriously not joking about it.

Just a reminder to all that the Barney Frank bill will give the sports leagues the right to opt OUT of allowing internet sports betting.

I love how the poker lobby loves to court us into supporting their cause, thinking we'll all be on the happy train together when in reality they will leave us tied to the tracks and run right over us.

It will never happen cause it would make it too easy for me to drive the 50 miles and place an investment.

And we got republican sh1theads like McCain trying to outlaw legal betting on college sports in Nevada.

When will the republicans stop acting like the moral cops of America? I mean they're the biggest adulterers, tax cheats and immoral pieces of crap to ever walk the earth but they love to tell us how to live our lives.

Their motto "Do as we say, not as we do" fits em perfectly.

I'd like to see it happen, however I highly doubt it will. Lets say it does though by some chance, how much revenue do you think Vegas would lose????
