I want to play the Mets but I can't figure out why the line isn't higher.

Mets are considered to be a bad team and the Phillies are a top 5 team.

Cliff Lee at home and the line is in the -170 to -180 range? I would've thought maybe -220 to -230.

Maybe because the Mets are trying to avoid a sweep. If the Mets won last game the line would probably be -200 or more.

Mikail, yeah, that's the only thing I could think of; that the line is factoring in the "avoid the sweep" thing.

Also, considering the success rate of home teams on SNB, I'd figure on the line getting bet up.

I would recommend waiting if you like the Mets because I do think the line should go up.

I got line chucked slightly but i still liked it. Mets dropped from +170 to +159 early on the overnights and thought It may drop a little more hence why I took it at +163.

Nice fuckin call there. Everybody and their sister was on Lee and the Over. You're the only person i saw talking up the Mets here. That over still wasn't anywhere near cashing for people even with all the extra innings and chances for runs. I don't feel like looking it up but i know that's at least 2 Philly losses in a row when Lee started, might be more i can't remember. I know it's still early as hell in the season but somehow Philly doesn't look like the unbeatable force i saw in my thoughts before the season. I wonder how many times this year they've successfully rolled out the 4 Aces b2b2b2b and got all 4 wins in a row, i feel like looking it up now because i want to know.
