Obama is a talking head like the rest of them. To be honest with you I don't feel he is all that intelligent, he's a great speaker.

Truth be told, I would not vote for a black man. Not really ashamed to say it. Blacks look out for blacks and whites look out for whites.

Fact is....Obama can't win the election because he cannot win any of the white states. Thats fact.

The Democratic party will choose him over Hillary for one simple reason. They will be called racists if they don't, further fragmenting already broken party ties. If they choose Hillary they would be barried alive by the left wing drive by media.

            JB post of year

If Obama wins most blacks will not work and will get welfare. Obama will give it to them and taxes will run rampant.

JB you need to be head mod here. I like your thinking

The Republicans have really overdone it the last 8 years or so. Now it is payback time. What better way to payback all the racist people in Jesus land then to elect a black dude with a muslim sounding name.

Don't worry one of the racist dudes will kill him before he takes office.

If that happens, I hope he picked John Edwards as his VP.

He probably will because he needs more of the white vote. He may go after the other 10% of the black vote that he isn't getting and put Al Sharpton on the ticket. Now thats a nightmare ticket for the republicans. Actually that is a nightmare ticket for everyone.

This board is full of methheads.

                      1. You don't get elected president without some really powerful interest groups with big pockets get behind you.

                      2. Welfare recipients are not a really powerful interest group.

I still haven't made up my mind who I would like to be president. McCain is too old. I don't want a president who might need help holding his wee why he pisses. I definitely don't want the world's most haneous bitch to be president. I'm convinced she would behead her own daughter if it meant she could be president some day. I don't know enough about Obama to know what I don't like about him, so he seems to be my only choice. I live in DC so as long as he is the democratic nominee I can vote for myself but those three little electoral votes are going to go for him.

If you guys really think that a republican is going to get elected after its previous president has had below 30% approval ratings your dreaming.

FWIT, I don't think this guy gives a crap about this country's poor anyway. And why should anyone, if you are poor in america then you are a screw up.

The Republicans will win. Over the last 28 years, save a blip knows as Clinton, they have won every election. Nobody thought Bush could win in 2004 -- he did. The Democrats always find a way to shoot themselves in the foot.

Fact is, they were getting 90% of the African-American vote before Obama and could not win. Do you really think this year will be any different? Dems talk a good game and then do not go out to the polls and vote.

Stay unmotivated. Stay lazy. And the Republicans will stay in office.

                        Ciao.

The thing with the two parties is that the republicans tend to stick together and are more close minded whereas the democrats are more open minded and therefore willing to either change their mind or just be lazy and not vote at all. However, Ron Paul could play the role of dividing the republicans enough to give the dems an edge. To be honest I have a hard time picturing either Obama or McCain as president but I know that one of them is going to get it. Personally I just hope it's not a McCain/****abee ticket. I think an Obama/Hillary ticket would be very hard for the republicans to counter though it would sort of be going against his word in a way if Obama made Hillary his VP canidate.

If Obama is elected the country will fall into a huge mess... Every wrong move he makes will be backed by "It's cause he's black"... A huge division will form among our country and we are looking at another Civil War...

With that being said, No way Obama gets elected in November... 57% of whites are behind hillary.. McCain will pick those up after she is knocked out of the race..

I either see a close win for the repubs here (like the last 2 elections) or a blowout by the dems. do any sites have playable odds on this stuff?

I'm one who thinks Obama can be the Tony Dungy of Presidents. As far as what is actually good for our country I think either he or Ron Paul are the best bets. As far as who is actually going to win it will either be him or McCain - with the results looking as I described them above.

I told you guys before and I'll tell you again.... Obama is a sure thing... a "LOCK" to win the presidency...

He is going to win whether the public votes for him or not... I think he does get capped or a staged capping at the very least and whitey will likely be the goat but that won't happen until after his first term is complete if at all...

I am going to bet as much as I can at as many books as I can on Obama... I am not going to vote nor am I going to tell anyone to vote for him because I know you egg heads make no differance you only think you do... which is enough I guess...

When are people going to understand that candidate say everything they possibly can to win over the voting public.. If you think any of what he says will actually get done, your extremely naive.. John McCain is much more experienced and knows the system more than Obama.. McCain will win..

Dems cannot win presidential elections without carrying the southern vote. That is why Al Gore lost, that is why Kerry lost. Obama can carry the southern vote. I like Edwards as VP, but I can honestly say I'm not happy with Bush and what the republicans have done over the past 8 years. I do not think this country is safer and I do not think our economy is better.

In fact under Bushes leadership the republicans have run the economy into the ground and stretched our military to the breaking point. Our country has never been veiwed upon in a worse manner than during the past 8 years internationally. These are some of the things that need to improve, and right now I don't think McCain can improve them.

Pretty confusing post, but if anyone wants to inform me of something I've missed let me know.

BTW I think we should CLONE GREENSPAN...were ****ed now that he's gone.
