Newton is a lock IMO. The Panthers have a new regime in town and the typical way to rebuild a franchise is the head coach/quarterback. They know they can market this kid and make a killing financially with this pick. He's a good ole boy from down south and fans in Charlotte will drink him in from day 1

As a panthers fan I'm praying no. But betting yes. I'm hoping all this crap about it is a smokescreen to try to scare a trade out of someone and they're actually leaning towards Dareus or Peterson...but I doubt it.
