How are things like this defined any more? I don't mean to be glib.

So many policies of the bush era infringed on civil liberties (e.g. patriot act). Any right-thinking, pun intended, libertarian would be aghast at the powers the so-called right gave over the day-to-day lives of the public. I've no idea what "right" means any more.

Whereas, the democrats aren't all that left, pathetic, populist centrists, is likely a more apt description. There certainly is a relative "left" but the US seems to have no authentic left (in comparison to other countries) with any power or draw.

Where do I say I have a lot of money? That is not me and never has been the case. I wish I had more money. You know nothing about me, only stuff that I say on a message board. I work very hard and I am not down and out but the last thing I do is "brag" about how much money I have. I wish that was the case where I had enough money to think like that.
