    how bad is sportsbook.com D+
I have been using them as they are linked to paradise poker and i can tranfer back and forth, would I be better off transferring funds back to paradise when I want to withdrawl? I probably will not have over 1k in the account..........is it just a matter of slow pay or is it no pay?

They stole from players. There are other books that use paradise that are not thefs.

I use them. Never had a problem with them YET. But they do have some enemies thats for sure.

I'm going to switch to Pinny pretty soon anyway, but I understand they have some bonus issues that border on theft from players is what I hear.

I just withdrew 2k after the superbowl Got my $ next day.
Will never wager with them again. They have nothing to
offer. Kind of a book for squares.

            They do alot
of business. I MEAN ALOT OF BUSINESS!! though

True, I forgot who it was on here, but someone says they met the owners out in a bar in Costa Rica or someplace like that. And the owner of sportsbooks.com says"with our name, we don't have to be a great book" or something to that effect. i think it was one of the admins here or something. Funny yet disturbing.

There has been a steady stream of complaints about this book for as long as I have been watching forums which is over 3 years.

I have never bothered with them and have no plans to try them out.

                      There are 2 sportsbook.coms

Pre-UIGEA (Oct 2006) sportsbook.com was an A+ great book with fast free payouts via neteller and some of the best bonuses on earth

Post-UIGEA sportsbook.com is a D- horrible book, slow paying and outright robbing players claiming they won off of correlated parlays (even though they had no problem keeping the money of those who lost correlated parlays) and stealing balances of any player they felt had previously abused their bonuses

Sportsbook.com has never been a "A" book to my knowledge.

Right now, they are D- (the thread title lists them at D+, which is incorrect.)

I disagree, prior to 2006 I would be shocked to hear of a player being stiffed by sportsbook.com, now it's status quo of course but back then their payouts and bonuses were A+

I believe they were up around the high C at that time. Most of their mistakes seemed due to incompetence and being too big with the left not talking to the right.

If it's already "in processing" you should be fine. A very low percentage of their players are victims of deliberate theft.

Tread was started in March 2006. I have a few hundred at Sportsbook, I'll either end up zeroing it out or hope to build it up and pray for a check when I withdrawl. Definately not going to redeposit if my acct goes to zero.

                                            Sportsbook.com should be rated "F"

They don't pay and no one should play with them...end of story! They should be rated "F".

Extreme bonus abuse cases I'm sure, they were my favorite book pre-2006 and dealt with them for 2 1/2 yrs with no problems and super fast free neteller payouts, now of course I wouldn't deposit a cent into their site. I'm not trying to justify confiscating balances but if you're depositing and redepositing 20k over and over to get a free 1000 to gamble with everytime it's pretty clear you're not a sports gambler but rather simply an extreme bonus abuser and your account should be closed but since many of these ppl simply opened up multiple accounts at sportsbook.coms sister sites I'm sure it was nearly impossible to close all the accounts at all the sites and of course you could sign up friends and family with multiple accounts as well. That kind of bonus abuse is hard to tolerate

And yes I played there too. They gave money away. They still do if you can get it out.

I agree, my experience with them was similar. I must add, however, that even after the law was passed, I have been paid. Not as quickly, but fairly consistently. Obviously there are horror stories out there, and caution must be used.
